The charity element of The Equinix Silicon Cup is incredibly important and is the main reason the event came into existence. Every year participating companies help to raise thousands of pounds for three very different, but incredibly worthwhile causes.
The event spans two days to help raise as much money as possible for the three chosen charities. Alongside the entry fees and social ticket sales other fundraising activities take place over the two days including fun games, auctions, regatta clothing and charity roulette. We would like to say a huge thank you to all of the generous donors, participants and sponsors that have made this possible.
If you would like to help increase the total money raised by contributing something for the auction please contact us.
By participating in the regatta, you can really help to put something back.
Our Charities
NSPCC:
Our aim - we want to see a society where all children are loved, valued and able to fulfil their potential. Our objectives are:
To mobilise everyone to take action to end child cruelty
To give children the help, support and environment they need to stay safe from cruelty
To find ways of working with communities to keep children safe from cruelty
To be and be seen as someone to turn to for children and young people
DREAMS
COME TRUE:
Each year 10,000 children in the UK are diagnosed with life threatening and long-term illnesses. With your help we can put smiles on the faces of many more sick children.
Our mission - To fulfil the most treasured dreams of terminally and seriously
ill children
Our Vision - To fulfil a dream a day and to be recognised as the best in our field
Our Values - Dreams are precious. Integrity goes hand in hand with compassion. Passionate and dedicated teams are paramount
The Jubilee Sailing Trust is a registered charity whose mission is to promote the integration of people of all physical abilities via the challenge and adventure of sailing tall ships on the open sea.
Why our mission is important - There are two elements to the JST's Mission.
One is to overcome prejudices and misconceptions about disability amongst able-bodied people and the second is to enable people with a disability to show themselves and others what they are really capable of when the environment is designed to be inclusive
