Sailing for a better future
Celebrating the eleventh Silicon Cup, this year sees the Equinix as the title sponsor
for the second year, bringing additional support to the event which plans to increase participation and fundraising by
50% during 2010 – aiming to attract over 60 entries and raise over £60,000 for the charities.
The 2010 event will take place on the 9–10 September
in Cowes on the Isle of Wight (England), brining together
professionals from the IT sector for two days of highly
competitive, yet accessible, sailing on the Solent. Anyone
from the technology industry can take part in the event
and sailing ability is absolutely not essential. Participants
also enjoy a series of social networking events in Cowes,
the capital of sailing in the UK.
