New Silicon Cup website launched

Welcome to the new Silicon Cup website. The largest annual sailing event in the IT industry, The Equinix Silicon Cup 2010, will take place in Cowes on Thursday 9th and Friday 10th September 2010. The event is open to all companies involved in the IT sector including manufacturers, Channel Partners, IT departments, logistics, law firms and other related suppliers.

Now in its 11th year, the original idea came from four senior people in the IT industry who got together and decided to combine their passion and their profession to raise meaningful amounts of money for charity. The first Silicon Cup was competed in the summer of 2000, and over 10 years the regatta has raised over £400,000 for our nominated charities.
